Injured Oklahoma employees are entitled to permanent total disability benefits if they are unable to return to work in any capacity. Permanent total disability benefits are paid for fifteen (15) years or until the injured worker reaches the age of one-hundred-percent Social Security retirement, whichever the longer. Permanenet total disablity benefits are paid at the injured worker’s temporary disability rate, 70% of the worker’s salary prior to injury, up to a maximum amount, currently set at $716.
